2. High blood pressure means blood pressure above 130 and below 85.

3. More than 150 mg/dL of triglycerides in the blood.

4. Deficiency of good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood means less than 40 mg/dL in men and 50 mg/dL in women. Note that two of the above four signs include a fasting blood glucose of 100 mg/dL after a meal of 140 mg/dL.
